The Night

Of course I had no idea of the beginning stages of this Fairy Tale. But this is where it started for me.

A Beautiful night and a nice romantic dinner. This is exactly that Jason and Jessica needed. Joe T Garcia’s was a place they always loved to go. The combination of so many of their favorite things: Mexican food, a nice laid back atmosphere, and beautiful scenery. The night was perfect and filled with the sounds of a fall evening. In a place where there were hundreds, there were really only two.

After drinking margaritas and share some delicious fajitas, the couple decided to go on there usually walk through the gardens at the back of the restaurant. As they walked and held hands she felt as if life couldn’t be more perfect at that moment. The stresses of the world seemed to be so far away. The fountain was beautiful and filled with bliss, the sight and sound had always been so soothing.

They walked over and took a seat on the bench they had sat on many times before. As he held her they sat in silence enjoying the moment and there surroundings. Unexpectedly he stood up and got down on one knee. He was holding a beautiful ring between his thumb and pointer finger. She jumped in surprise. He was presenting it to her. She looked deep into his eyes and he looked deep into hers.

Baby, I love you so much.
I know that God made you just for me.
Will you marry me?

Those were the worlds that left his lips.

Yes, Yes! She said.

They both started to cry and held each other tight. She was laughing and crying and kissing his face. I love you, they said to each other.

She was happy and the night couldn’t have been more perfect.
