Leaving Little Rock
Tuesday, November 11th, 2003 [edit]
Jason Mevius

This weekend Jessica is flying to Little Rock to help me move back to Dallas. We’ve been living apart for almost exactly a year now. It’s been really hard, but it’s almost over.

I have some regrets about how the situation was handled with leaving my job, but I can’t look back on things that are beyond my control. I start my new job on Monday, but there are lots of things that have to be done first.

For starters, I have to buy more respectable work clothes. I’ve got to renew our DSL service. I’ve got to help Jessica clean our apartment. I’ve got to prepare for the first time we cook Thanksgiving together. I’ve got to design websites for Pat.

I’ve got to start working out — the male part of Operation Wedding Dress. I’ve got to start saving money. I’ve got to start helping Jessica more with wedding plans.

I’ve got to thank my lucky, blessed stars for bringing us back together.

And I have to Keep pushing through Operation Wedding Dress. Its hard to not eat snuffers everyday. Also I love to cook and food loves me. Now that Jason will be home we will be able to cook healthy dinners, less fast food. And go on good walks together in the evenings. Now see since all eyes will be on me on our wedding day (wink) this program is way more stressful for me. This is a lot of pressure. But I know I’ll look gorgous of course.
