Planning is coming along well. We are going at a good pace now and it feels good to not be totally freaking out about every little detail and loosing sleep over them.
Mom and I are working great together on flowers, she has been a huge help. We are now to the point where we need to choose, meet with and get into more detail with the lucky florist
The price of flowers however has really blown me away. I had no idea. One quote on my bouquet alone was $400. You have to be kidding me and this is for something I won’t even be around the next day to get to enjoy before it dies. People spend thousands on flowers and it’ insane for one day. Yes, I would love to have the most lavish, extravagant flowers that a bride could dream of but I know there are other things that are way more important so I’m trying to be conservative and keep it to a minimum.
The invitations are also coming along great. A huge thanks to my wonderful Fiancée for taking that one off my hands. Jason and Dave have been working on card stock and envelopes and what not. On Saturday we went over to Dave and Debbie’s to take pictures. Ben came over with his new fancy digital camera. He did his Bestman duties very well. Not that taking pictures for the cover of our Save the Date card is a typical duty. But in this case it was a very important one. Between the whole team a great job was done. We had a blast doing it and I’m sure you will soon be able to see a couple of video clips of the two of us doing our thing (I was talking about taking pictures, get your minds out of the gutter). Chances that I can get Jason to not post them here, I know is very slim. They are really funny, so I know I should share.
The “Save the Date” card should be arriving in a mailbox near you soon.
On a different note: I think I’m going to start writing a Brides Guide, not the typical type but well you’ll see.

I wanted to see the video clips, but Dad didn’t have them, but I heard that you guys had fun.
