This will be an ongoing story, designed to share all of the highs and lows leading to the wedding day of Jason Mevius and Jessica Wilson.
People’s fingers swell when they get nervous. So, when exchanging rings, tell couples to only slide the ring up to the first knuckle and let the other person push it up the rest of the way. Otherwise you run the risk of the groom breaking his bride’s finger in the middle of the ceremony.

Oh, by the way, we talked to some semi-pro wedding coordinators last night. We persuaded them to attempt the impossible.
I read in the paper today that Britney Spear’s on-again/off-again wedding has been rescheduled for November the 20th. Instantly, I thought of the ramifications:
Yesterday morning, I went to the gym and noticed a wedding band in the locker as I was getting ready to leave. It really made me think about the difficulty I’m going to have wearing a ring.
I don’t have any problems with the commitment associated with wearing a ring, I’m worried about the ring itself.

We have been so busy lately it’s insane. Soon I’m going to post a listing of the finish wedding items and those outstanding. I think it would be neat to give everyone an idea as to why we are so crazy and always so busy. We just got our engagement photos back and I’m so excited. Our photographers are so awesome and really did amazing work. I’m sure it helps to have such pretty subjects (j/k) but they are really good and so much fun to work with. I think Jason is going to post the pics here when he gets a chance to work on it. I’ve also been bugging him to update the site with other things like registry info, our wedding party bios and fun things like that. So hopefully these additions will happen in the next few weeks.
