This will be an ongoing story, designed to share all of the highs and lows leading to the wedding day of Jason Mevius and Jessica Wilson.
Apparently, there is some indecision about the shoes the Bridesmaids will wear at the wedding. I could see how hard it would be for all the ladies to agree on a single style that would flatter everyone.
So, I decided to try helping out.

Wow, where has the time gone. A month is all that is left. It’s hard to believe. It seems like only yesterday we were researching venues for our big day. That was last October. I’m really starting to get so excited now. I have been this whole time but now it’s becoming such a reality it’s that type of excitment that gives you the girlish giggles. It’s so close. But then also I’m a bit stressed right now with all the last minute details that have to be finalized and taken care of. We are doing really well though. Jason and I have really worked well together through out this whole process. He has been by far a Super Groom! And I’m a lucky bride.
We’ve sent out our invitations and the responses are rolling in at an amazing rate. It’s truly incredible to think about all of the people who will be coming in from out of town, out of state, or out of the country for our wedding.
Very nice and heartwarming. It’s also the first time since the ratio of legitimite mail to junk mail has been so high.
We’re working hard on the final preparations for the wedding and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone.
I can’t believe we are getting this close. It seems like yesterday I was saying we still have plenty of time. And when a vendor would ask me when the wedding was and I’d say Nov 20th. and they’d say oh you’re ahead of schedule well we have plenty of time. I think now I’m entering the frustrating time. We have been planning this wedding since last October. And I have had a lot of fun with it but at this point I’m so ready for it to be here. I feel like I’ve worked so hard for the past year so we wouldn’t be stressed about the minutia before the wedding and here I am still wondering about decor placement, door wreaths, and silver cake platters.

Sleeping hasn’t been that pleasurable for me lately. Unfortunately the Nightmares have begun. These are not Nightmares and worries of the commitment of marriage. No not at all that’s a walk in the park!! It’s the little details that get me every time. Well little to most but enormously valuable to me. Please enjoy and feel free to laugh at me as I tell you about my last night terror.
